Finishing and Superfinishing grinding wheels
Finishing and superfinishing wheels are used for special applications in centerless grinding. They have special bond properties and are used for minimal removals in order to improve surface finish and workpiece geometry, before and after chrome-plating. A correct combination of bond type and fine abrasive microgrits helps to obtain optimal roughness parameters at the end of the process. Obtainable surface roughness parameters: Ra = 0,05 µm, Rt < 1,0 µm.
