Roughing and Semifinishing grinding wheels
Roughing and semifinishing wheels are used for high-precision centerless rectification of steel bars and tubes. The technical properties of the bond combined with an optimal grit size enable wheel self-dressing and offer great results for different steel types. Our wheels can be used for rough griding, where high removal rates are important, for smoothing the surface after previous machining steps in order to achieve perfect dimensional parameters, and for obtaining an intermediate surface finish in preparation for finishing and superfinishing. The exact application depends on factors like abrasive grit size, bond hardness, wheel structure as well as different parameters of your grinding process.
